Wearing draped robes that cascade to the floor, covering her hair and body. The robes have intricate fold detailing that give them a sense of movement and softness.
Her simple grace and reverent beauty are characteristic of the Virgin Mary. As with all cast iron products, this statue will continue to gently develop its own unique patina. Depending on positioning and environment, this can include mossing and general weathering. In order to begin this process, we store these statues outside. As rust forms its own seal, decades of service are ensured. Whilst a weathered look is generally preferred, a uniform finish can be achieved by priming and spraying or painting as required.

The initial delivery arrived broken after not being delivered on the expected date . DHL pulled up outside the house , driver went to back of van , re-emerged empty handed and drove away without approaching the house . I suspect he had failed to bring the item or knew it was broken . It was delivered broken next day after I had complained toDHL. Not to worry , a replacement was dispatched by ROUNDWOOD the same day and arrived the following day undamaged . I advise ROUNDWOOD to use a different delivery company . Very pleased with the product and customer service .
